Lubrication system refueling method and oil change method
1.lubrication refuel
Always check the amount of lubricating oil during the use of air compressor,if the oil level is too low, it should be replenished in time.
2.Filling method for lubricating oil
When the air compressor stopped and the internal pressure is released,after confirming the system is not under pressure,then pull down the main power switch.
Open the fuel filler on the oil and gas separation tank ,and add an appropriate amount of cooling oil.
Pay attention to the amount of oil when refueling,the oil level should be kept between the lowest and highest oil levels,not too much or too little. More oil will affect the separation effect, and less oil will affect the lubrication and cooling performance of the equipment.
Lubricating oil replacement
With the operation of the air compressor, the composition of the lubricating oil will gradually change a little, at the same time, some impurities will enter, so the lubricating oil should be replaced regularly. The replacement time depends on the use of the environment, humidity, dust and air in the presence of acid and alkali gases.
The newly purchased air compressor must be replaced with new oil for the first 500 hours of operation, and then replaced every 2000 hours according to the normal oil change period. Air compressors that operate less than 2,000 hours a year should be replaced annually.
1. Oil filter replacement
It is better to change the oil filter at the same time when changing oil. As the composition of the lubricating oil changes, the oil filter core becomes clogged. When the pressure exceeds the limit of the bypass valve, the bypass valve will automatically open, and a large amount of dirt and particles will directly enter the compression chamber host with random oil, causing serious consequences.
Generally, the replacement period of the lubricating oil filter is same as the lubricating oil,shortening the replacement cycle in a harsh environment.
4.Filter replacement steps
1. Start the air compressor and run for about 5 minutes to raise the temperature of the lubricating oil to above 50 °C. At this time, the viscosity of the lubricating oil drops.
2. Stop the air compressor and reduce the internal pressure.
3. When the pressure in the oil and gas tank is very small, connect the oil receiving device and open the oil drain valve. The oil drain valve should be slowly opened to avoid the oil to hurt people.
4. When the lubricating oil is basically exhausted, close the drain valve after the drop
5. Use a special wrench to reverse the oil filter, remove the oil filter, and drain the oil in each line at the same time.
6. Replace with new oil filter and screw back to oil filter seat.
7. Open the filler nut and inject new oil so that the oil level is within the range of the oil mark. Tighten the filler plug to check for leaks.
